Shayla Silva PT, DPT, OTR/L
Earning a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2013 and a Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014, Shayla continued her education by completing a 55 week Orthopedic residency to increase her knowledge and expertise. Shayla has 10+ years of experience in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, acute hospitals, NICU, and home health for adults & infants. Settled into home health in the Central Valley in 2023 to make a difference in functional independence across all ages. Founder and Owner of Movement Matters PT OT. Enjoys time with friends, husband and dog Roscoe!
Tiffany Frias OTR/L
Earning a Masters of Occupational Therapy in 2022 from University of Puget Sound, Tiffany has served the pediatric population since graduation. She joined our team in 2024 and has been specializing in children ages 4-10 years old with a focus on Sensory Dysfunction.
Karen Kaufman COTA/L
Earning an A.S. of Occupational Therapy in 2009, Karen has worked in a variety of settings to create a well rounded and experienced practitioner. From the skilled nursing setting to a dance instructor for children with disabilities, she brings a lot of experience to our team. She joined our team in 2024 to allow us to expand into the Tuolumne County area to provide for the pediatric population. In her off time, Karen enjoys cooking, spending outside time with my family and going to the beach.
Madison McGowan IDS
Earning a Bachelors Degree at Northern Arizona University in Elementary Education with a certificate in Early Childhood Education, Madison brings an incredible background to our team. After starting her career in teaching 1st grade, she joined us in 2024 as an Infant Development Specialist to work with the Early Intervention Population that serves children 0-3 years old. When not working with children, Madison enjoys spending time with family and friends. If not with her loved ones, she enjoys being crafty, baking something sweet or going on nature walks.
Ann Butterfield IDS
Earning a Bachelors Degree at Stanislaus State University in Liberal Studies, Ann has been in the teaching field for 15+ years. She joined our team in 2024 as an Infant Development Specialist to provide care for the Early Intervention Population that serves children 0-3 years old. Her experience with children of various ages makes her an invaluable member to our team.
Marissa Esquivel SLP
Earning a Masters of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Emerson College, Marissa has extensive experience in the pediatric population. She joined our team in 2024 and her experience with fluency disorders, speech impairments, cognitive impairments and more allows us to provide excellent care to the Early Intervention population in the Central Valley.
